"I would like more opportunities to showcase my fashion designs, perform on stage, choreograph, and expand my artwork."

Model Citizen Media provides a platform to recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far. I think all we can really be is ourselves. I am a fashion designer, ballerina, artist. To be honored and appreciated for our talents and what we can give to make the world a better place both physically, mentally, and aesthetically. This is my passion. What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field? I would like more opportunities to showcase my fashion designs, perform on stage, choreograph, and expand my artwork. The way the creative world is presented has changed over time and I am right there with the changes which is a great place to be. How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? I am articulate in nature when building relations and I am more of a listener due to my introverted personality. In is this way, clients are most satisfied with the end results. If you had to do it over again, what would you change? Life is progressive and not so much accumulative is what I believe and understand for myself. You can be at the right place at the right time with the right skillset and no matter what you've done in the past, a new world can emerge. I've seen it happen to my friends and I've seen it happen to myself. So to answer the question, I wouldn't know what it is I would have to do over again to arrive where I am today. I am content. Who is your hero, and how have they helped you get to where you are? I am my own hero and G_d. My family supports whatever I do but it wasn't always that way. Also, my hero's are all the positive influential role models: my teachers, coaches, and mentors that are by my side during my artistry endeavors. How important are creative education courses? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful? It is always good to learn the right techniques in any discipline in painting, dance, and fashion design before bending the rules to carve your own path. Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry? Yes. Make sales every opportunity you get because living a life of art is funded only by the work that is created by you, so you must sell it. Meaning, get comfortable asking for the sale. Otherwise you may never learn the industry.
