"... I believe what makes someone fit to be a model derives from their passion and zeal towards modelling being ready to face challenges and obstacles."
Model Citizen Media provides a platform to recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.
Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career?
Well I am an upcoming (amateur) model...I dont know if you have ever felt drawn to something...well I want to work as a model and I am interested in modelling as a career, cause I take it as a part of me...I feel delighted when I pose in front of a camera.....something inspiring about me? well I have this strong believe that I can't seem to fail or should I say I am made for this..
How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?
Well I feel modelling education is really necessary cause it helps aspiring and upcoming models like me focus on what is!! Like I said I am upcoming with little or no experience I haven't attended any modelling course....Acting and singing (rapping actually).
What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model?
I would really answer that in two ways if u mean "fit" like body structure well I would say it takes the person's height and posture but personally I believe what makes someone fit to be a model derives from their passion and zeal towards modelling being ready to face challenges and obstacles.
What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?
I have a lot of goals as a model first let me start by saying I want to do the extra-ordinary as a model....just as people watch movies and listen to songs when sad and feel happy once again I want my pictures to do exactly the same, I want to pass a huge message across with my pictures without saying a word...I am still just starting but I see a lot of good opportunities ahead of me.
What do you know about advertising psychology and photography?
I really don't know much about the advertisement industry but on photography; I know a little first with the trouble of setting the lights and all that, going places for shoots, editing the pictures and all that. only a little.
How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
Well I always want to know more when I communicate with people, I am patient, always wait for my time....yes I would say I am a friendly person. ..I haven't really met much client's but for the few I have met I would say I give in to their requirements pretty well.
Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?
Yes I do....well I am a skinny model so I do my exercise four (4) days in a week.
What is your dream role as a model?
My dream role as a model is to be a top commercial, fashion/runway model.
Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request?
Well I wouldn't say I have limitations, I never do what I am unable to do well maybe to that I have limitations.
State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?
I am practically available...yes I am available to travel...part-time.
