"My goal is to have my work on the cover of every single fashion magazine in the world!!"

Model Citizen Media provides a platform to recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far. I have always been a lover of fashion and styling. I Iove to make people feel good about themselves and that starts with looking good. I love when I find wardrobe that fits someone's personality and they are comfortable in it. I've found that a lot of people love when I style them because I allow them to express themselves strictly through wardrobe and I assure them that its ok to JUST BE THEMSELVES. When you look good, you feel good and if you feel good you will always perform your best with out worrying about ANYTHING or ANYONE.. Confidence with what you're wearing is very important. What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field? I would love to be known for my eclectic, crazy, yet edgy and bold type of High Fashion Editorial wardrobe styling. I want to work with the best of the best in the industry. My goal is to have my work on the cover of every single fashion magazine in the world!! How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? I love to make people feel good!! Sturdy handshakes, hugs and communication is key. lol. I am very patient with all of my clients and I make sure all of their needs are met. My job isn't complete until they are completely satisfied and comfortable.. If you had to do it over again, what would you change? I wouldn't change a thing. I appreciate all the long nights and early mornings. Each failure and success has made who I am today. Who is your hero, and how have they helped you get to where you are? My daughter is my hero. She has literally saved my life. She is my number #1 fan and my biggest supporter and cheerleader. She has taught me to be patient, how to work under pressure and also to NEVER EVER give up no matter what!! How important are creative education courses? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful? Different strokes for different folks, honestly!! some people need educational courses where other people would rather have hands on experience. I have taken several Fashion Merchandising classes and Business Marketing classes. They have definitely helped me out big time, especially when it comes to running my own business. Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry? Be patient, take your time, research your industry and allow yourself to fail. Get out there and let yourself and your craft be know. Always remember Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.
