"Rejection happens in life. The key is how are we going to react to it and move forward."

Model Citizen Media provides a platform to recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far. The best words to describe me are humble, ambitions, and layed back. I've had a love for fashion my whole life. I'm pretty new at modelling and so far it's been a learning experience. My love for fashion and my ability to take good pictures gave me the idea to want to take a step further and become a professional. My athletic ability and height inspired me to do runway. I definitely plan to be in this industry for a long time and am currently striving for greatness in this field. What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field? My goals are to be a professional model and actor. I see myself progressing by being confident in what I'm doing, working on weaknesses in my free time, taking directions and executing accurately, and maintaining a positive attitude. How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? I am a patient guy. I get along with people well in all ages. I'm pretty much open to clients' requirements as far as me stepping out of my comfort zone. If you had to do it over again, what would you change? I would definitely be more confident. Who is your hero, and how have they helped you get to where you are? My grandmother. My grandmother is one person that I must say, other than my parents, that has been on my side since day one. She helped me get to where I am today by inspiring me to follow my dreams and visions. How important are creative education courses? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful? I've taken a few creative education courses. They've been helpful because they helped me think outside the box and be different. Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry? Confidence, listening skills, execution, and positivity. Also be ready to bounce back and keep going. Rejection happens in life. The key is how are we going to react to it and move forward.
