Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.
Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far. i love fashion so much. I usually wear clothes that I am comfortable with. But dressing up & seeing myself turned into a different woman when I do photo shoots is totally a different experience for me. What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field? My goal is to prove to myself that I can be a better mom to my 3 kids . They are my inspiration in everything I do. An I am happy to see myself doing what I love, being a mother to my children & a model as well.. I see myself slowly but surely progressing in this field. It's really great for me to see myself doing a lot of hard-work & sacrifices to get on top, than getting everything easily & fall How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? I love making friends. And communicating with other people for me is easy. And yes, I am patient sometimes. hahaha. I am very much open to Client's requirements but I make sure that all must be discussed & explained well. If you had to do it over again, what would you change? Nothing. Because I am happy with what I am & what I have right now. Who is your hero, and how have they helped you get to where you are? My hero is non other than Mr. Roderick Tan. He is a fashion editorial & commercial photographer that is based here in the Philippines. He is the man who really sees my potential as a high fashion model. How important are creative education courses? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful? I haven't taken any creative courses. But I find it very much useful in this field. Because you have to be very much creative in this field, so everyone would not get bored seeing every output. I believe Creative Education Courses add more knowledge & it helps a lot in making awesome ideas. Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry? Do what you love. If you are happy in this industry, never let anything negative stop you.
