"I suppose I am going to keep taking any chances that come my way and continue to not be scared of the risk involved since this is my dream!"

Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far. I love that I get to become a part of beautiful art every time I take part in a project. Modeling has become such a huge passion for me. It has has helped me to find myself and become the self confident woman I am today! What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field? My first goal was to become a published model, and I just recently accomplished that, so naturally I have been thinking more about my future in the field. I definitely see myself doing more print work and runway! I recently submitted for America's Next Too Model, since that was my favorite show to watch growing up. I suppose I am going to keep taking any chances that come my way and continue to not be scared of the risk involved since this is my dream! How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? I am always up for almost anything on the runway or in front of the camera. I definitely stand by my beliefs, but outside of my own personal rules I always strive to give my best and make sure the person behind the camera is getting the results they want out of the shoot. If you had to do it over again, what would you change? I think I would be less scared to say no to something if I don't feel like my heart is in it. I also would be much more confident, as I've realized that the more confident you are, the better the photos will turn out. Confidence even makes you more happy outside of the modeling world! Who is your hero, and how have they helped you get to where you are? I have many powerful, confident women that I look up to, such as Ashley Graham, Tyra Banks, and Bella Thorne. The thing they all have in common is that they all have such a radiating self confidence! They truly believe in themselves and it shows through their photos and their personality. It helps me when I'm feeling self doubt, to remember that whether I think I can or I can't, I'm right! How important are creative education courses? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful? I have taken many acting and runway courses. Obviously it helped a lot with my form and just having more knowledge, but ultimately I don't think it is necessary to become successful in the field. Hands on experience has helped me the absolute most! Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry? My biggest advice to anyone, not even just in this profession but to EVERYONE, is to just love yourself for who you are! You won't be happy if you can't face who is standing in the mirror.
