"A few years ago I worked as a dancer, and I really missed the stage..."
Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.
Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career?
A few years ago I worked as a dancer, and I really missed the stage, thats why I started modeling. It's a little bit like I were on stage again. It's very exciting for me that I can get to meet and know new,and very talented people. The commercials are my favourite because I love to act, but I also like photoshootings. Each work is exciting for me because I can get into different caracters every time.
How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?
I think the modelling tuition is really important, because learning the foundations of any job you do gives you the set of skills needed to do well and progress in your work. When I started modeling I also completed a modeling course, and I feel it is very useful.
What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model?
I think the positive attitude is much more important than anything else. You can have a perfect 'model body', but it's worthless without kindness and positive aura. I don't mean that you don't need to work on your appearance, but you always need to work on your inner self too.
What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?
Every job what I get is a big success for me. It's always a great honor for me if somebody wants to work with me.
What do you know about advertising psychology and photography?
The most important thing what I learned is that sometimes you don't need to think too much when you don't get the job, move forward with the same enthusiasm, because sometimes your caracter doesn't fit the job.
How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I think I have good communication skills, I'm patient and friendly. This I learned when I was a theatre dancer where I needed to be very disciplined. Now I can use this qualiy well good.
Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?
From my early years I always tried to live the healthiest life as possible, eat fresh, and do sports. Nowadays pilates is my favourite one. :)
What is your dream role as a model?
My biggest dream is to be the face of a big cosmetic company, or participate in a movie, because I love to do acting so much.
Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request?
I like to push my boundaries because that way I can see how far can I go. I think you can reach anything you want if you have enough intrepidity. ;)
State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?
I like and can travel, and I could work as a full-timer. A few months ago I was in Japan as a model for 3 months, and that was my most memorable experience. :)
