Why do you want this fashion stylist job?
Because it is what I love to do and what I am best at. I believe I started to style myself when I was 5 years old. My favorite playtime was getting in my god's mother closet and playing dress up. I love creativity and create stories through styling.
What have you learned from mistakes on the fashion stylist job?
To always have a plan B when things don't work how I was expecting. To always stay positive and have a second plan when things don't go right.
What challenges are you looking for in this fashion stylist position?
I compete with myself. So I love challenges and new projects. I am always looking forward to have a great experience, to work with new people and learn from their vision on fashion.
Describe a typical work week for fashion stylist position?
Put together looks. Create new ideas for fashion layouts. Always looking for whats new... Writing on my Fashion Blog about my personal style, and put together looks for it.
What is your biggest weakness?
If clients are reading this interview, why should they hire you as fashion stylist position?
Because I give the best of myself. I'm open minded and always with a positive attitude. I can work in a fast space. I love what I do with all my heart and I treat any business like if it is my own. I go above and beyond people needs and go for the most successful outcome in any work.
What companies have you worked for in the past?
I have worked for Michael Kors, Honolulu Fashion Week and numerous fashion designers campaigns.
Tell us your most recent project.
Was putting together looks for my trip to Paris and Italy since Im writing a whole story on my Blog. And working right now with local designers from Seattle, Washington on a new project.
What's the dream?
The Dream...! I have most of my dreams come true, I must say. But of course my dream would be working in Milan, Italy for a fashion Magazine that would let me travel around. Meet Anna Wintour or Karl Lagerfeld. Living traveling and writing about Fashion 24/7.
What was your most challenging experience so far and how did you overcome that?
Probably working outdoors, planning a whole photoshoot in an exterior location but the weather condition didn't help, so everything you visualize and planned for can not be done, so we have to come with a plan B. Never canceled a shoot.
Tell us your most memorable experience as a fashion stylist?
Meeting Fern Mallis creator of New York Fashion week, and Todd Snyder during Honolulu Fashion Week: meeting my fashion Bloggers Idols during Paris Fashion week at the Elie Saab Fashion show: Chriselle Lim and Thassia Naves was so memorable, was a dream come true.
What advice could you give to the aspiring and amateur fashion stylist?
To always follow their heart and guts. To always be themselves, to be humble, unique and look for inspiration all around. To work always extra hard for what they want and desire. That dreams do come true when you truly want it with all your heart, soul and body. To be always chic, classy and have a fabulous positive attitude. To enrich themselves by traveling, learning different languages and cultures. To learn and live as many experiences as they can and create, create their own style!
