"My most memorable modelling experience so far was doing a shoot in a field of dandelions."
Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.
Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career?
I'm silly, funny, high-energy and I can get along with anyone. I'm an energizer bunny, nonstop fun & excitement. I can find positives in negative situations.
How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?
Modelling education is important however I think life experiences can prepare you to enter the model world just as well. For example, I used to run competitively. Being in the public eye, working with diverse teammates and dedicating myself to practice and meets has helped me tremendously with modelling.
What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model?
Personality, confidence, kindness, fearlessness, willingness to learn.
What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?
My goals as a model include representing models with a more muscular physique, breaking into fitness modelling and defying the stereotypes of ethnic models.
How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I'm confident enough to say my biggest strength is communicating with others. I'm extremely patient, super friendly, open minded, all of which compliment my passion for people.
Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?
I eat pretty healthy. I enjoy food a lot and eat to live. I lift weights two times a week and I eat a lot of carbs.
What is your dream role as a model?
My dream role as a model would be to be featured in a major sports brand ad
Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request?
My limitations include nude photography. I will only do implied nude now.
State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?
Availability is full time, any time, in GTA in Ontario, Canada.
What is your most memorable experience so far?
My most memorable modelling experience so far was doing a shoot in a field of dandelions. Doesn't get more "one with nature" than that!
