"Being a model is my passion. A dream and goal."

Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career?

Being a model is my passion. A dream and goal. Modeling is a way I can show the world my view of art and beauty.

How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?

It is very important to have Model education. There are important tips and guild lines that will always help you excel in being a model. While Many believe and see it as a picture being taken of someone that may look very appealing, there is a lot of creativity, hard work, and dedication that is in the photo itself. I have not taken modeling courses but would love to take any kind. In my eyes there is always room for knowledge, and improvement.

What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model?

In my opinion, what makes someone "fit" to be a model is having the courage, and strength to keep pursing print / runway despite the pressure of competition, downfalls, negativity, and unprofessionalism. Being a model is not something everyone can do, simply because not everyone is built to with stand those things all at once. The last thing I believe someone fit to be a model is being able to produce the inner art at its finest with no blurry spots and the model and pose being it's sharpest.

What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?

My goals as a model are to produce art at its finest, for the world to see and also my personality through my photos. I can see myself going extremely far because that is where and how I want my career to be. With hardwork, dedication, time, practice, and coaching, anything is possible.

What do you know about the advertising industry?

The things I know of advertising is branding yourself and also advertising correctly. Branding yourself can be tough moments. You have to make sure you are putting out and showing what you want people to see at all times. There are many ways someone can advertise but they are not advertising correctly. Providing the right information about the brand, time frames and promotions are the basics and can be difficult. By simply not doing those things correctly, you could lose an entire fan base.

How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?

I have always been an extrovert. I love being out going, meeting new people and doing business with others. Communication is key in everything. It can make or break any situation as well as waste time.

Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?

Me being as petite as I am, the gym and eating healthy has always been apart of my lifestyle. Growing up i worked out from time to time with my mother doing cardio and lifting weights. To this day I attend planet fitness daily. Making sure i get my daily workout is very important and stressful when I am unable to make it. Working out and maintaining a nice figure goes hand in hand with my career.

What is your dream role as a model?

As I grew older and now that I am a model, runway or editorial print will be fine with me. When getting on the actual runway I get a fierceness that comes out and guides my legs down the runway and a fire that makes me pose. Doing editorial print is a beautiful thing. It captures the art, the moments, and thoughts into one photo. Everything that happened in that second would then be something you can show everyone and perhaps inspire them

Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request?

How I define boundaries when choosing to accept a modeling request, as well as just collaborating with a photographer, I remember the value and respect I hold as a young lady and also as myself. When I look at things from a Models perspective, I remember I am branding myself. Accepting modeling request can boost or break the path your walking and the one you would love to walk one day. When working with anyone , it is important to remember if it is something you can represent as well as how you are branding yourself
