"I found out that I loved it I felt more comfortable than I thought I would in front of the camera."

Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career?

When I first decided to try and make it into modelling it was just a stab in the dark really, I didn't even think anything would come of it, when I uploaded my photo onto a website I didn't think I would hear back then I got a message asking me to contact them, so I did and got myself booked in for a portfolio shoot and when I did it I found out that I loved it I felt more comfortable than I thought I would in front of the camera, and so there it began I now feel I have got a passion for this and really look forward to some great shoots and who knows what else.

How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?

I feel being educated in anything you are interested in is important to better yourself you need to know what you are doing. I haven't attended any courses as of yet but I will be attending some at some point.

What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model?

I think having an interest in fashion is important for modelling, being able to present yourself well and looking after yourself I think is important.

What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?

I would love to make it as a well established model working with all the top brands hopefully one day I can make this happen. I am hoping to progress well as I have been told I have a good look.

What do you know about the advertising industry?

It is a really important field as the seller wants to sell as many of there products as possible so it has got to be right and made as pleasing to the eye as possible

How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?

I feel I am good with people and can communicate well , I am a patient person that is very friendly and am quite open to clients requirements.

Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?

Yes I do eat well being into bodybuilding and competing in this sport (small local shows) I have to keep my diet quite good. I go to the gym religiously 4-5 times a week.

What is your dream role as a model?

I haven't really thought of a dream role but to work with some off the top brands would be a dream..

Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request?

I would be willing to go as far as underwear modelling but no further.

State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?

Being self employed in my full time job I am very flexible and can make myself available at any time really. Traveling is no problem either I drive. Doing it full time would be great or just doing it part time being new I am open to anything really.
