"I want to work with designers and photographers from all around the world and hopefully get to walk in shows for top designers as well."

Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career?

I started modeling in high school and I wasn't very good at first but I worked really hard to build my portfolio and now I'm looking for an agency to sign me. I love bringing something exciting, something more to a picture. I want to travel the world and work with international designers.

How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?

I used to take modeling classes every Sunday and I did that for about two years. We worked on poses, runway, interview, and even read from a few scripts. I also love all the Top Model shows (America, Asia, UK, etc..) and have learned a lot from them.

What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model?

I think to be a good model you need to be dedicated and passionate about fashion. You need to be able to work well with others, be ready for long hours and lots of hard work. I also think it's very important to not rely on the fact that you're "pretty." Still try to be creative and different because pretty girls are a dime a dozen but what makes you different from them?

What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?

I want to travel to as many countries as possible. I want to work with designers and photographers from all around the world and hopefully get to walk in shows for top designers as well. I'd also love to be in movies and have my own fashion line.

How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?

I'm very friendly and very open to new ideas. The crazier, the more different, the better!

Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?

I go to the gym 3-4 times a week. But I do yoga and ballet stretches at home everyday. And I eat as clean as I can. I rarely eat meat and I'm Gluten-free and dairy free.

What is your dream role as a model?

I'd love to open the door for other petite models. I want to show the world that petite models can be supermodels as well. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request?

I really don't have an limitations honestly. I'm pretty open to anything.

State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?

I would love to travel and work full-time. This is the only thing I want to do with my life.

What was your favourite experience so far?

My most memorable experience was my very first photoshoot. I had never felt so beautiful, so powerful. It was an incredible experience and that's when I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.
