"To be honest anyone is fit to be a model if they are comfortable in their own skin and is a natural in front of the camera."

Model Citizen App is the platform where we recognise fashion models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, creative directors, bloggers, stylists, and labels around the world. Every day, we feature an individual on Model Citizen Interviews. People get to know each of them - their hopes, challenges, aspirations and inspirations in life.

Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career?

I'm already a model with the agency called "model agency" the reason why I'm interested in the modelling career is because I believe I can make a change not just to myself but to other people. The way in which I can change myself is by helping me fight my BDD (Body Dysmorhpic Disorder) already I've learned to start loving myself as my photographer made me feel beautiful without makeup. The way in which I can change others is by telling them no matter what they are they can make it into the industry and that people are beautiful no what what shape and size or skin tone

How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?

I haven't attending any form of modelling courses.

What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model?

To be honest anyone is fit to be a model if they are comfortable in their own skin and is a natural in front of the camera. Also someone who can pull of some amazing outfits.

What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?

My goals as a model are to be signed to leading agency's such as storm and elite. Another goal is to also change people's opinions on the modelling.

How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?

I communicate with people in many different ways. Depending on who I have to communicate with will depend on how I would do this. For example on able to use my knowledge of some sign language to communicate with those who cannot speak, deaf, or hearing lose. When it comes to communicating with people who have power over me e.g. A boss or a teacher I'll be really formal with them as well mature whereas talking to friend I'll be immature and joke about as well as a bit informal.

Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym?

I don't attend a gym as I can do all the workouts I need at home and I'm continuously walking everywhere unless I have to travel by transport. I do home workouts like 2-3 times a week.

What is your dream role as a model?

I think my main dream roll is to make it on to magazine covers that people get to see everywhere.

Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request?

The limitations I sadly have when accepting a modelling request is I'm either too short of my body shape doesn't apply with what they need.

State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?

My availability is pretty flexible. However as I'm still in education I'll have to work part times and weekends. I will be able to travel but only on weekends and scheduled sixth form holidays.

What is your most memorable experience?

My memorable experience so far would probably be when I got accepted into the agency. This is due to the fact I've always wanted to model but never thought I was good enough to become a model. Also where I've had surgery on my jaw from when the hospital broke my jaw I didn't think they would take me on as I have a scar on the left hand side of my jaw and due to it being near my face which is an important factor in modelling I honestly thought I had my chance blown.
